The glory of ChristA
-
My Savior and my KingB
Thy beauties are divineC
Thy lips with blessings overflowD
And every grace is thineC
-
Now make thy glory knownE
Gird on thy dreadful swordF
And ride in majesty to spreadG
The conquests of thy wordH
-
Strike through thy stubborn foesI
Or melt their hearts t' obeyJ
While justice meekness grace and truthK
Attend thy glorious wayJ
-
Thy laws O God are rightL
Thy throne shall ever standM
And thy victorious gospel provesN
A sceptre in thy handM
-
Thy Father and thy GodO
Hath without measure shedG
His Spirit like a joyful oilP
T' anoint thy sacred headG
-
Behold at thy right handM
The Gentile church is seenQ
Like a fair bride in rich attireR
And princes guard the queenQ
-
Fair bride receive his loveS
Forget thy father's houseT
Forsake thy gods thy idol godsU
And pay thy Lord thy vowsV
-
O let thy God and KingB
Thy sweetest thoughts employW
Thy children shall his honors singB
In palaces of joyW
