Psalm 45 Part 2 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BBCC DDEF GGHI JJKK LLMM NNOC

Christ and his churchA
-
The King of saints how fair his faceB
Adorned with majesty and graceB
He comes with blessings from aboveC
And wins the nations to his loveC
-
At his right hand our eyes beholdD
The queen arrayed in purest goldD
The world admires her heav'nly dressE
Her robe of joy and righteousnessF
-
He forms her beauties like his ownG
He calls and seats her near his throneG
Fair stranger let thine heart forgetH
The idols of thy native stateI
-
So shall the King the more rejoiceJ
In thee the favorite of his choiceJ
Let him be loved and yet adoredK
For he's thy Maker and thy LordK
-
O happy hour when thou shalt riseL
To his fair palace in the skiesL
And all thy sons a numerous trainM
Each like a prince in glory reignM
-
Let endless honors crown his headN
Let every age his praises spreadN
While we with cheerful songs approveO
The condescensions of his loveC
