Rhyme Scheme: A BCDC EFGF DHBI JKJK LMLM NONO

Works of creation and providenceA
-
Rejoice ye righteous in the LordB
This work belongs to youC
Sing of his name his ways his wordD
How holy just and trueC
-
His mercy and his righteousnessE
Let heav'n and earth proclaimF
His works of nature and of graceG
Reveal his wondrous nameF
-
His wisdom and almighty wordD
The heav'nly arches spreadH
And by the Spirit of the LordB
Their shining hosts were madeI
-
He bid the liquid waters flowJ
To their appointed deepK
The flowing seas their limits knowJ
And their own station keepK
-
Ye tenants of the spacious earthL
With fear before him standM
He spake and nature took its birthL
And rests on his commandM
-
He scorns the angry nations' rageN
And breaks their vain designsO
His counsel stands through every ageN
And in full glory shinesO
