Psalm 32 Part 2 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBC DEFG HIHI JKJL

A guilty conscience eased by confession and pardonA
-
While I keep silence and concealB
My heavy guilt within my heartC
What torments doth my conscience feelB
What agonies of inward smartC
-
I spread my sins before the LordD
And all my secret faults confessE
Thy gospel speaks a pard'ning wordF
Thine Holy Spirit seals the graceG
-
For this shall every humble soulH
Make swift addresses to thy seatI
When floods of huge temptations rollH
There shall they find a bless'd retreatI
-
How safe beneath thy wings I lieJ
When days grow dark and storms appearK
And when I walk thy watchful eyeJ
Shall guide me safe from every snareL
