Psalm 32 Part 1 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBD EFEF GHGH FFFI

Repentance and free pardonA
-
Blest is the man for ever blestB
Whose guilt is pardoned by his GodC
Whose sins with sorrow are confessedB
And covered with his Savior's bloodD
-
Blest is the man to whom the LordE
Imputes not his iniquitiesF
He pleads no merit of rewardE
And not on works but grace reliesF
-
From guile his heart and lips are freeG
His humble joy his holy fearH
With deep repentance well agreeG
And join to prove his faith sincereH
-
How glorious is that righteousnessF
That hides and cancels all his sinsF
While a bright evidence of graceF
Through his whole life appears and shineI
