vA
S MB
Waiting for pardon and directionC
-
I Lift my soul to GodD
My trust is in his nameE
Let not my foes that seek my bloodF
Still triumph in my shameE
-
Sin and the powers of hellG
Persuade me to despairH
Lord make me know thy cov'nant wellG
That I may 'scape the snareH
-
From the first dawning lightI
Till the dark ev'ning riseJ
For thy salvation Lord I waitK
With ever longing eyesJ
-
Remember all thy graceL
And lead me in thy truthM
Forgive the sins of riper daysN
And follies of my youthM
-
The Lord is just and kindO
The meek shall learn his waysN
And every humble sinner findO
The methods of his graceL
-
For his own goodness' sakeP
He saves my soul from shameE
He pardons though my guilt be greatK
Through my Redeemer's nameE
