Psalm 16 Part 3 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDE FGFH IJIJ KLKL

Courage in death and hope of the resurrectionA
-
When God is nigh my faith is strongB
His arm is my almighty propC
Be glad my heart rejoice my tongueD
My dying flesh shall rest in hopeE
-
Though in the dust I lay my headF
Yet gracious God thou wilt not leaveG
My soul for ever with the deadF
Nor lose thy children in the graveH
-
My flesh shall thy first call obeyI
Shake off the dust and rise on highJ
Then shalt thou lead the wondrous wayI
Up to thy throne above the skyJ
-
There streams of endless pleasure flowK
And full discoveries of thy graceL
Which we but tasted here belowK
Spread heav'nly joys through all the placeL
