Psalm 16 Part 2 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDE FGFH IJKJ BLBM

Christ's all sufficiencyA
-
How fast their guilt and sorrows riseB
Who haste to seek some idol godC
I will not taste their sacrificeD
Their offerings of forbidden bloodE
-
My God provides a richer cupF
And nobler food to live uponG
He for my life has offered upF
Jesus his best beloved SonH
-
His love is my perpetual feastI
By day his counsels guide me rightJ
And be his name for ever blessedK
Who gives me sweet advice by nightJ
-
I set him still before mine eyesB
At my right hand he stands preparedL
To keep my soul from all surpriseB
And be my everlasting guardM
