Praise ye the Lord exalt his nameD
While in his holy courts ye waitE
Ye saints that to his house belongF
Or stand attending at his gateE

To praise his name is sweet employH
Isr'el he chose of old and stillI
His church is his peculiar joyH

The Lord himself will judge his saintsJ
He treats his servants as his friendsK
And when he hears their sore complaintsJ
Repents the sorrows that he sendsK

Through every age the Lord declaresL
His name and breaks th' oppressor's rodM
He gives his suff'ring servants restN
And will be known th' Almighty GodM

Bless ye the Lord who taste his loveO
People and priest exalt his nameD
Amongst his saints he ever dwellsP
His church is his JerusalemQ
