Psalm 131 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCBC DEDE FGFG

Humility and submissionA
-
Is there ambition in my heartB
Search gracious God and seeC
Or do I act a haughty partB
Lord I appeal to theeC
-
I charge my thoughts be humble stillD
And all my carriage mildE
Content my Father with thy willD
And quiet as a childE
-
The patient soul the lowly mindF
Shall have a large rewardG
Let saints in sorrow lie resignedF
And trust a faithful LordG
