Hosanna the Lord's day or Christ's resurrection and our salvationC
-
This is the day the Lord hath madeD
He calls the hours his ownE
Let heav'n rejoice let earth be gladF
And praise surround the throneE
-
Today he rose and left the deadG
And Satan's empire fellH
Today the saints his triumphs spreadG
And all his wonders tellH
-
Hosanna to th' anointed KingI
To David's holy SonC
Help us O Lord descend and bringI
Salvation from thy throneE
-
Blest be the Lord who comes to menJ
With messages of graceK
Who comes in God his Father's nameL
To save our sinful raceK
-
Hosanna in the highest strainsM
The church on earth can raiseN
The highest heav'ns in which he reignsM
Shall give him nobler praiseN
