Rhyme Scheme: ABC DEDE FCFC GHIH JKJK

vA
C MB
Public praise for deliverance from deathC
-
Lord thou hast heard thy servant cryD
And rescued from the graveE
Now shall he live and none can dieD
If God resolve to saveE
-
Thy praise more constant than beforeF
Shall fill his daily breathC
Thy hand that hath chastised him soreF
Defends him still from deathC
-
Open the gates of Zion nowG
For we shall worship thereH
The house where all the righteous goI
Thy mercy to declareH
-
Among th' assemblies of thy saintsJ
Our thankful voice we raiseK
There we have told thee our complaintsJ
And there we speak thy praiseK
