Rhyme Scheme: A B CDEE FFCC GGHI

Christ or Wisdom obeyed or resistedA
-
ProvB
-
Thus saith the Wisdom of the LordC
Blest is the man that hears my wordD
Keeps daily watch before my gatesE
And at my feet for mercy waitsE
-
The soul that seeks me shall obtainF
Immortal wealth and heav'nly gainF
Immortal life is his rewardC
Life and the favor of the LordC
-
But the vile wretch that flies from meG
Doth his own soul an injuryG
Fools that against my grace rebelH
Seek death and love the road to hellI
