True to the solemn oaths they takeE
Though to their hurt they swearF
Constant and just to all they speakG
For God and angels hearH

Still with their lips their hearts agreeI
Nor flatt'ring words deviseJ
They know the God of truth can seeI
Through every false disguiseJ

They hate th' appearance of a lieB
In all the shapes it wearsK
They live in truth and when they dieB
Eternal life is theirsK

While hypocrites and liars flyB
Before the Judge's frownL
His faithful friends who fear a lieB
Receive th' immortal crownL
