A new song to the Lamb that was slainA
-
RevB
-
Behold the glories of the LambC
Amidst his Father's throneD
Prepare new honors for his nameE
And songs before unknownD
-
Let elders worship at his feetF
The church adore aroundG
With vials full of odors sweetF
And harps of sweeter soundG
-
Those are the prayers of the saintsH
And these the hymns they raiseI
Jesus is kind to our ComplaintsH
He loves to hear our praiseI
-
Eternal Father who shall lookJ
Into thy secret willK
Who but the Son shall take that bookJ
And open every seaL
-
He shall fulfil thy great decreesM
The Son deserves it wellN
Lo in his hand the sovereign keysM
Of heav'n and death and hellN
-
Now to the Lamb that once was slainA
Be endless blessings paidO
Salvation glory joy remainA
For ever on thy headP
-
Thou hast redeemed our souls with bloodQ
Hast set the pris'ners freeL
Hast made us kings and priests to GodR
And we shall reign with theeL
-
The worlds of nature and of graceS
Are put beneath thy powerT
Then shorten these delaying daysI
And bring the promised hourT
