IA
Hospitable is he a spirit laden lifeB
Who opens the door at the end of dayC
He who locks it shall suffer in strifeB
And pain will befall him come what mayC
-
IIA
It is wrong to think that the door can be blockedD
Forcing it close is the thought of a foolE
Better yet to let nature take its courseF
And welcome the visitor with a drink and some foodG
-
IIIA
Sit with him leaving your fear behindH
Greet him as you would an old acquaintanceI
Regrets are lighter than hesitation you'll findH
It is best that you meet it with acceptanceI
-
IVB
Tales of hours past told of one manJ
Twisting his story like the gloomy forest vinesK
That he goes searches and scours the landL
For the unfortunate who were to be butchered at sightM
-
VB
But soon to be you shall come to knowN
When you brave the challenge without any nerveB
The story that unfolds then forgotten soN
You'll hear from the man over the tea you servedO
