Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEAE FGHG IJKJ DGLG IMCM NOPO OOOQ GCOC ROOO GSOS ATFT

Whispers of the eveningA
Fill the gentle airB
Humming a melodyC
For dearest so fairB
-
Midnight when awokenD
Specks of light surroundE
Thee my precious darlingA
Whom the dark had foundE
-
Lost lambs we have becomeF
Following the ryesG
But the truth shall gaze backH
Opening our eyesG
-
Silent nights usher coldI
Dreary weary whimJ
Weighing thee down dearestK
Turning thy days dimJ
-
Yet in embrace be goneD
Torment in shadowsG
Chase away all horrorL
Back in their burrowsG
-
My lone heart thou should holdI
And love be thy charmM
While I start to sing theeC
A song to rout harmM
-
Tunes of the nightingaleN
Sound to deep darkenedO
Blue clouds of curtained skyP
Two worlds harkenedO
-
Waves of sparing moonlightO
Fall between our feetO
Rise do the twirling dustO
From the ground beneathQ
-
Cast aside thy troublesG
That lay waste to theeC
Much like the sun retiredO
Past a blanket seaC
-
Unloose thy self and breatheR
Calm serene at restO
Hear our dozing hearts beatO
In my arms dearestO
-
I hum to thee sweet dreamsG
Warm thy soul asleepS
Be cradled by comfortO
Allow the wonder seepS
-
Hush my precious darlingA
The stars guard our doorT
Let thyself know freedomF
Lonesome be no moreT
