African Sun Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDE FGHIJK FLHMNO FCPQR FSTUV FWXY DZA2

When I was four years oldA
My village mates and IB
Used to gossipC
About the African sunD
At the cold morning river bankE
-
WE WILL SAYF
It starts very youngG
Weak like a babyH
With no idea of how to shineI
From the sea shore to the forestJ
Under the leaves of the treesK
-
WE WILL SAYF
So around eleven twelve o'clockL
It's migrated greatlyH
It grows giant muscles like an old bush apeM
Wings and sharp big eyesN
To glare down on the earthO
-
WE WILL SAYF
I wonder if this same sun is in EuropeC
Freely it creeps in and outP
Of our patched thatched palm leaf hutsQ
Peeping into very little holes it's sees like a thiefR
-
WE WILL SAYF
But I love the way it smartly sketches shadows on the warm groundS
Tall standing trees walking beingsT
Trays on fish sellers headsU
Like it's taking photosV
-
MY FRIEND WILL SAYF
Sorie Lol do you remember when I told you I saw the sun in the village well one timeW
I wanted to catch it like a fishX
But I couldn't fit its face in my bucketY
-
I WILL CONCLUDE THE TOPIC OF THE SUND
Ha ha You can't hoot itZ
It's bigger than youA2
