Sunset Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD

HOODED in angry mist the sun goes downA
Steel gray the clouds roll out across the SeaB
Is this a Kingdom Then give Death the crownA
For here no emperor hath won save HeB
-
Though from the blackened grasses of the springC
The dead look up to where the swallow fliesD
And in this woodland never a bird will singC
The laughter lives within the sentry's eyesD
