Love And Humour Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABBB CDCDEE BFBFBB

WHEN first I saw you in eclipseA
A veil about your headB
And wondered at those unseen lipsA
With wit bediamondedB
Then laughing down the street I wentB
And sang upon my way contentB
-
Next time we met in dim surmiseC
Upon an autumn mornD
And in those understanding eyesC
Shone humour rainbow bornD
So travelling through this earthly mazeE
A greater light fell on my waysE
-
But when I saw your head unveiledB
Feature and form and hueF
A woodland fairy silver mailedB
Lightwinged upon the dewF
Then did I pay a heavy costB
For love a world of laughter lostB
