In this Cash cradled AgeE
We grate our scrannel Musick and we doteF
Where is the Strain unknownG
Through Bronze or Silver blownG
That thrill'd the Welkin with thy woven NoteF

Yes we are selfish MenH
Yet would we once againH
Might see Sabrina braid her amber TireA

Or watch the Comus CrewA
Sweep down the Glade or viewA
Strange streamer'd Craft from Javan or GadireA

Or could we catch once moreA
High up the Clang and RoarA
Of Angel Conflict Angel OverthrowA
Or with a World begunI
Behold the young ray'd SunI
Flame in the Groves where the Four Rivers goA

Ay me I fondly dreamJ
Only the Storm bird's ScreamJ
Foretells of Tempest in the Days to comeK
Nowhere is heard up climbL
The lofty lyric RhymeL
And the God gifted Organ voice is dumbK
