At Baia Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCDEFA GHIJIAKA DALLCMA NAO EE

I should have thoughtA
in a dream you would have broughtA
some lovely perilous thingB
orchids piled in a great sheathC
as who would say in a dreamD
I send you thisE
who left the blue veinsF
of your throat unkissedA
-
Why was it that your handsG
that never took mineH
your hands that I could seeI
drift over the orchid headsJ
so carefullyI
your hands so fragile sure to liftA
so gently the fragile flower stuffK
ah ah how was itA
-
You never sent in a dreamD
the very form the very scentA
not heavy not sensuousL
but perilous perilousL
of orchids piled in a great sheathC
and folded underneath on a bright scrollM
some wordA
-
Flower sent to flowerN
for white hands the lesser whiteA
less lovely of flower leafO
-
or-
-
Lover to lover no kissE
no touch but forever and ever thisE
