In a village veiled with morning pride	A
Where mountains bowed and rivers sighed	A
The people walked with heads held high	B
Too high to notice passing sky	B

They said This Earth is far too plain	C
Too full of dust too full of rain	C
We crave a throne among the stars	D
A kingdom built beyond these scars	D

So bricks were laid with haughty hands	E
To craft a Heaven of their plans	F
They carved new clouds with steel and fire	G
Stacked ladders fueled by vain desire	G

Why settle here they cried aloud	H
The Earth is broken weak and bowed	H
We ll build a home where angels dine	I
A Paradise of our design	I

But high above the sun stood still	J
Withheld her warmth withdrew her will	J
The night refused to bear her moon	K
And stars were swallowed all too soon	K

The ocean clenched her rolling waves	L
She locked her fish in secret caves	L
The trees grew silent seeds unsown	K
For none could thrive or bloom alone	K

Then Nature rose in storm and leaf	M
And spoke with grace and spoke with grief	M

Why do you strain to rise so tall	N
When you are but a part not all	N
Can breath alone give rise to life	O
Without the wind the rain the strife	O

You seek to soar without the wing	P
To crown yourselves as Earth s true king	P
Yet even kings must eat and sleep	Q
And all you sow is what you reap	Q

Then silence fell a humbling hush	R
Their towers cracked their voices crushed	S
And those who thought to climb the skies	T
Looked down and saw through different eyes	T

They built again with gentler hands	E
Not seeking stars but loving land	U
And learned at last what sages knew	K
That greatness grows when all things do	K
