What Doesn't Kill Us Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DDEE FFGG DDEE

What doesn't kill makes one stronger they sayA
But this one weakens me Mum can you see meB
You're not here but I believe you re listeningC
Your love still lingers though the light is missingC
-
I stumble through shadows searching for youD
The days feel heavier the nights cold and blueD
Each memory whispers each echo refrainsE
That love transcends even the deepest of painsE
-
I hear your laughter in the rustling treesF
Your warmth in the sun your voice in the breezeF
Though life has robbed me of your embraceG
I find you in the stars in every sacred spaceG
-
So Mum can you see me I hope you doD
I carry your strength as I journey throughD
Your absence may weaken but your spirit sustainsE
A love unbroken by life s cruel chainsE
