Siamese Twins Of Choice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EF DFFD GHI JKL MNOPQ RSATUVW

I am drunk on questionsA
placed before me by Siamese twins of choiceB
two futures stitched at the wristC
each tugging my pulse in a different directionD
-
Which hand do I holdE
without betraying the otherF
-
I call them my childrenD
yet I cannot tell who is elderF
who is wiserF
who carries the gentler ruinD
-
Like timeG
they refuse retirementH
They age me insteadI
-
Life keeps smuggling paradoxes into my pocketsJ
I empty them outK
only to find my hands still fullL
-
Irony falls like a stubborn rainM
soaking even my certaintiesN
Each time I whisper Now I knowO
ignorance laughsP
and tears my robe of confidence in publicQ
-
I stand naked in the street of my own mindR
applauded by doubtsS
judged by questionsA
learning that wisdom is not arrivalT
it is the courageU
to keep walkingV
while undecidedW
