Wishing--fishing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCDCBCEE A FGFGFGEE A HEHEIEEE

Full well I know that wishing never yet has broughtB
The things that seem to us would satisfy the heartC
And that anticipated pleasure when at last 'tis caughtD
Has naught but transitory solace to impartC
And yet somehow I've ever felt and thoughtB
A joy there is that never can departC
As long as we are capable of feeling wishingE
And that's to leave dull care behind and go a fishingE

Some dream of wealth of place of fameF
And fleeting shadows vainly they pursueG
And some have sighed to win a deathless nameF
Where fields of carnage corpses thickly strewG
And shrieks of agony are heard 'mid smoke and flameF
But these are dizzy heights attained by fewG
So when Dame Fortune is her favors dishingE
I hope that I'll get mine in ample time to go a fishingE

Oh was there ever any sweeter dreamH
Or music with a tone that's more entrancingE
Than just to wander where some mountain streamH
Is o'er the rocks and polished pebbles dancingE
And nothing short of heaven itself I weenI
Is like the moment when his scales all glancingE
You see the happy consummation of your wishingE
And catch the very fish for which you have been fishingE
