Song (untitled #4) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBACC DEEDFF GHHGII

Two wedded lovers watched the rising moonA
That with her strange mysterious beauty glowingB
Over misty hills and waters flowingB
Crowned the long twilight loveliness of JuneA
And thus in me and thus in me they spakeC
The solemn secret of fist love did wakeC
-
Above the hills the blushing orb aroseD
Her shape encircled by a radiant bowerE
In which the nightingale with charmed powerE
Poured forth enchantment o'er the dark reposeD
And thus in me and thus in me they saidF
Earth's mists did with the sweet new spirit wedF
-
Far up the sky with ever purer beamG
Upon the throne of night the moon was seatedH
And down the valley glens the shades retreatedH
And silver light was on the open streamG
And thus in me and thus in me they sighedI
Aspiring Love has hallowed Passion's tideI
