Song (untitled #3) Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABAABB CDCDCCDD

Fair and false No dawn will greetA
Thy waking beauty as of oldB
The little flower beneath thy feetA
Is alien to thy smile so coldB
The merry bird flown up to meetA
Young morning from his nest i' the wheatA
Scatters his joy to wood and woldB
But scorns the arrogance of goldB
-
False and fair I scarce know whyC
But standing in the lonely airD
And underneath the blessed skyC
I plead for thee in my despairD
For thee cut off both heart and eyeC
From living truth thy spring quite dryC
For thee that heaven my thought may shareD
Forget how false and think how fairD
