Fragments Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCBACA DEDEFGFG HHIIJJKK LHLHM

Open horizons roundA
O mounting mind to scenes unsungB
Wherein shall walk a lusty TimeC
Our Earth is youngB
Of measure without boundA
Infinite are the heights to climbC
The depths to soundA
-
-
A wilding little stubble flowerD
The sickle scorned which cut for wheatE
Such was our hope in that dark hourD
When nought save uses held the streetE
And daily pleasures daily needsF
With barren vision looked aheadG
And still the same result of seedsF
Gave likeness 'twixt the live and deadG
-
-
From labours through the night outwornH
Above the hills the front of mornH
We see whose eyes to heights are raisedI
And the world's wise may deem us crazedI
While yet her lord lies under seasJ
She takes us as the wind the trees'J
Delighted leafage all in songK
We mount to her to her belongK
-
-
This love of nature that allures to takeL
Irregularity for harmonyH
Of larger scope than our hard measures makeL
Cherish it as thy school for when on theeH
The ills of life descendM
