Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE FGFG

In a garden sweet went walkingA
Two lovers hand in handB
Two pallid figures low talkingA
They sat in the flowery landB
-
They kissed on the cheek one anotherC
And they kissed upon the mouthD
They held in their arms each the otherC
And back came their health and youthE
-
Two little bells rang shrillyF
And the lovely dream was deadG
She lay in the cloister chillyF
He afar on his dungeon bedG
