The Gospel Women 02: The Woman That Lifted Up Her Voice Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAC DEDE BFBF GBHB IJKJ

Filled with his words of truth and rightA
Her heart will break or cryB
A woman's cry bursts forth in mightA
Of loving agonyC
-
Blessed the womb thee Lord that bareD
The bosom that thee fedE
A moment's silence filled the airD
All heard the words she saidE
-
He turns his face he knows the cryB
The fountain whence it springsF
A woman's heart that glad would dieB
For woman's best of thingsF
-
Good thoughts though laggard in the rearG
He never quenched or chodeB
Yea rather blessed they that hearH
And keep the word of GodB
-
He would uplift her not rebukeI
The crowd began to stirJ
We miss how she the answer tookK
We hear no more of herJ
