Shew Us The Father Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDDCEE

Shew us the Father Chiming stars of spaceA
And lives that fit the worlds and means and powersB
A Thought that holds them up reveal to oursB
A Wisdom we have been made wise to traceA
And looking out from sweetest Nature's faceA
From sunsets moonlights rivers hills and flowersB
Infinite love and beauty all the hoursB
Woo men that love them with divinest graceA
And to the depths of all the answering soulC
High Justice speaks and calls the world her ownD
And yet we long and yet we have not knownD
The very Father's face who means the wholeC
Shew us the Father Nature conscience loveE
Revealed in beauty is there One aboveE
