One evening for adieuB
Said You'll not mind being left aloneA
For God takes care of youB

The correlation's nodeD
Yes she said God takes care o' meC
An' I take care o' GodE

The child and woman were the sameF
She changed not only grewB
'Twixt God and her no shadow cameF
The true is always trueB

As daughter sister promised wifeG
Her heart with love did brimH
Now sure it brims as full of lifeG
Hid fourteen years in himH
