Fate Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDDCCD

Oft as I rest in quiet peace am IA
Thrust out at sudden doors and madly drivenB
Through desert solitudes and thunder rivenB
Black passages which have not any skyA
The scourge is on me now with all the cryA
Of ancient life that hath with murder strivenB
How many an anguish hath gone up to heavenB
How many a hand in prayer been lifted highA
When the black fate came onward with the rushC
Of whirlwind avalanche or fiery spumeD
Even at my feet is cleft a shivering tombD
Beneath the waves or else with solemn hushC
The graveyard opens and I feel a crushC
As if we were all huddled in one doomD
