Faith Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABB CCDD EEFF GGHI

Earth if aught should check thy raceA
Rushing through unfended spaceA
Headlong stayless thou wilt fallB
Into yonder glowing ballB
-
Beggar of the universeC
Faithless as an empty purseC
Sent abroad to cool and tameD
Think'st I fear my native flameD
-
If thou never on thy trackE
Turn thee round and hie thee backE
Thou wilt wander evermoreF
Outcast cold a comet hoarF
-
While I sweep my ring alongG
In an air of joyous songG
Thou art drifting heart awryH
From the sun of libertyI
