Confidence Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDDCCD

Lie down upon the ground thou hopeless oneA
Press thy face in the grass and do not speakB
Dost feel the green globe whirl Seven times a weekB
Climbeth she out of darkness to the sunA
Which is her God seven times she doth not shunA
Awful eclipse laying her patient cheekB
Upon a pillow ghost beset with shriekB
Of voices utterless which rave and runA
Through all the star penumbra craving lightC
And tidings of the dawn from East and WestD
Calmly she sleepeth and her sleep is blestD
With heavenly visions and the joy of NightC
Treading aloft with moons nor hath she frightC
Though cloudy tempests beat upon her breastD
