Come Unto Me Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE FGFG HIHI JKJK LMLM NONO

Come unto me the Master saysA
But how I am not goodB
No thankful song my heart will raiseC
Nor even wish it couldB
-
I am not sorry for the pastD
Nor able not to sinE
The weary strife would ever lastD
If once I should beginE
-
Hast thou no burden then to bearF
No action to repentG
Is all around so very fairF
Is thy heart quite contentG
-
Hast thou no sickness in thy soulH
No labour to endureI
Then go in peace for thou art wholeH
Thou needest not his cureI
-
Ah mock me not I often sighJ
I have a nameless griefK
A faint sad pain but such that IJ
Can look for no reliefK
-
Come come to him who made thy heartL
Come weary and oppressedM
To come to Jesus is thy partL
His part to give thee restM
-
New grief new hope he will bestowN
Thy grief and pain to quellO
Into thy heart himself will goN
And that will make thee wellO
