An Improvisation Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDED FGFG HIJI

The stars cleave the skyA
Yet for us they restB
And their race course highA
Is a shining nestB
-
The hours hurry onC
But where is thy flightD
Soft pavilionE
Of motionless nightD
-
Earth gives up her treesF
To the holy airG
They live in the breezeF
They are saints at prayerG
-
Summer night come from GodH
On your beauty I seeI
A still wave has flowedJ
Of eternityI
