A Christmas Prayer Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBCCCDEABAEEA

Loving looks the large eyed cowA
Loving stares the long eared assB
At Heaven's glory in the grassB
Child with added human birthC
Come to bring the child of earthC
Glad repentance tearful mirthC
And a seat beside the hearthD
At the Father's kneeE
Make us peaceful as thy cowA
Make us patient as thine assB
Make us quiet as thou art nowA
Make us strong as thou wilt beE
Make us always know and seeE
We are his as well as thouA
