Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJKL

When snow falls against the windowA
Long sounds the evening bellB
For so many has the tableC
Been prepared the house set in orderD
-
From their wandering manyE
Come on dark paths to this gatewayF
The tree of grace is flowering in goldG
Out of the cool sap of the earthH
-
In stillness wanderer step inI
Grief has worn the threshold into stoneJ
But see in pure light glowingK
There on the table bread and wineL
