To The Silenced Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABCD EFGH IJ

Oh the great city's madness when at nightfallA
The crippled trees gape by the blackened wallA
The spirit of evil peers from a silver maskB
Lights with magnetic scourge drive off the stony nightC
Oh the sunken pealing of evening bellsD
-
Whore who in her icy shivers sheds a still born childE
With raving whips God's fury punishes brows possessedF
Purple pestilence hunger that breaks green eyesG
Oh the horrible laughter of goldH
-
But silent in dark caves a stiller humanity bleedsI
Out of hard metals moulds the redeeming headJ
