A
-
-
-
A lonely destiny in abandoned roomsB
-
A soft insanity gropes on wallpapersC
-
On windows reddish beds of geraniumsD
-
Daffodils also and more chaste in wasting awayE
-
As alabaster which gleams in the gardenF
-
In blue veils India 's mornings smileG
-
Their sweet incense scares away the stranger's worriesH
-
Sleepless night by the pond because of AngelaI
-
His pain rests hidden in an empty maskJ
-
Thoughts which steal away blackly in the darknessK
-
The thrushes laugh all around from soft throatsL
-
-
-
-
-
-
In the crossway surrounded by spiky grassM
-
The mowers crouch tiredly and drunk with poppyN
-
The sky has sunk very heavy on themO
-
The milk and desolation of long midday bellsP
-
And sometimes crows flutter up in the ryeQ
-
With fruit and horrors the hot earth growsR
-
In golden brilliance o childish gestureS
-
Of lust and its hyacinthine silenceT
-
When bread and wine nurtured by the flesh of the earthU
-
Show Sebastian in dream their spiritualityN
-
Angela's spirit belongs to gentle cloudsV
-
-
-
-
The fruits which round red in branchesW
-
The angel's lips which show her sweetnessK
-
Like nymphs who bend over springsX
-
In restful viewing for long hoursC
-
The green gold long hours of the afternoonY
-
However sometimes the spirit returns to fight and gameZ
-
In golden clouds a battle melee of fliesA2
-
Surges over putrefaction and abscessesA2
-
A demon ponders thunderstorms in the sultrinessA2
-
In the grave's shadow of sad cypressesA2
-
Then the first lightning falls from black fluesA2
-
-
-
-
-
-
The willow copses' whisper in the eveningB2
-
A rain resounds in flute soundsA2
-
Motionless birds hang in the eveningB2
-
And here Angela's rest in the dim branchesA2
-
The poet is this beauty's priestC2
-
Painful pondering in the dark coolnessA2
-
Balmy puddles scent with poppy and incenseA2
-
By the edge of the forest and gloom's shadowD2
-
Angela's joy and the games of the starsA2
-
The night embraces the languishing of loversA2
-
The edge of the forest and gloom's shadowD2
