On The Death Of An Old Woman Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B C D E F G H I C F J

Often I listen full of horror at the doorA
-
And when I arrive it seems to me that someone fledB
-
And her eyes see past meC
-
Dreamily as if they would see me elsewhereD
-
Thus she sits completely stooped in herself and listensE
-
And seems far off from the things around herF
-
However she trembles when noise rushes at the windowG
-
And then cries still just like an anxious childH
-
And caresses her white hair with tired handI
-
And asks with paled glance Must I go alreadyC
-
And has a crazy fever The little light in the altarF
-
Went out Where do you go What has happenedJ
