In The East Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGH IJKL

Like the wild organs of the winter stormA
Is the people gloomy rageB
The purple billow of battleC
Of stars leaf strippedD
With broken brows silvery armsE
The night beckons to dying soldiersF
In the autumnal ash tree s shadeG
The ghosts of the killed are sighingH
-
Thorny wilderness surrounds the townI
From steps that bleeds the moonJ
Drives off dumbfounded womenK
Wild wolves have burst through the gateL
