Birth Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDDEFGDHDDDDID

These mountains blackness silence and snowA
The red hunter climbs down from the forestB
Oh the mossy gaze of the wild thingC
The peace of the mother under black rsD
The sleeping hands open by themselvesD
When the cold moon seems ready to fallE
The birth of man Each nightF
Blue water washes over the rockbase of the cliffG
The fallen angel stares at his re ection with sighsD
Something pale wakes up in a suffocating roomH
The eyesD
Of the stony old woman shine two moonsD
The cry of the woman in labor The night troublesD
The boy s sleep with black wingsD
With snow which falls with ease out of the purpleI
cloudsD
