At the MoorA
-
Wanderer in the blackened wind Dry reeds whisperB
in the stillness of the moor A column of savage birdsC
ensues in the dawning skyD
Over murky waters they crossE

Uproar From the crumbling shackF
the black wings of rot flutter upG
Crippled birches sigh in the windH

Evening in the forsaken tavern The way home is shroudedI
by the tender sadness of the grazing herdJ
Night becomes manifest toads emerge from the silver waterB
