A Spring Evening Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B C D E F G H I J K J J J L J

Come evening friend who surrounds my forehead with darknessA
-
Gliding on paths through soft green sowingB
-
Also willows beckon solemnly and calmlyC
-
A beloved voice whispers in the branchesD
-
The tranquil wind floats beautiful things here from somewhereE
-
Scent of daffodils which silverly touches youF
-
In the hazel bush the blackbird makes musicG
-
A shepherd's song gives answer from the firsH
-
How long the small house has disappearedI
-
Where now a birch copse gushesJ
-
The pond bears a lonely constellationK
-
And shadows rounding silently in the goldennessJ
-
And time is so miraculousJ
-
That one looks for angels in human glancesJ
-
Which delight in innocent playL
-
Yes Time is so miraculousJ
