Picture Of A Nativity Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDEC FGHH IJKI

Sea preserved heaped with sea spoilsA
Ribs keels coral soresB
Detached faces ephemeral oilsA
Discharged on the world s outer shoresB
-
A dumb child kingC
Arrives at his right place restsD
Undisturbed among slack serpents beastsE
With claws flesh buttered In the gatheringC
-
Of bestial and common hardshipF
Artistic men appear to worshipG
And fall down to recognizeH
Familiar tokens believe their own eyesH
-
Above the marvel each rigid headI
Angels their unnatural wings displayedJ
Freeze into an attitudeK
Recalling the deadI
