Death Sonnet I Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCD EFGH IJJ KLM

From the icy niche where men placed youA
I lower your body to the sunny poor earthB
They didn't know I too must sleep in itC
and dream on the same pillowD
-
I place you in the sunny ground with aE
mother's sweet care for her napping childF
and the earth will be a soft cradleG
when it receives your hurt childlike bodyH
-
I scatter bits of earth and rose dustI
and in the moon's airy and blue powderJ
what is left of you is a prisonerJ
-
I leave singing my lovely revengeK
No hand will reach into the obscure depthL
to argue with me over your handful of bonesM
