Love Declared Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCDEFGHIJ KLMNOPQRSJTUVWQ XQYVZEOQ

I looked she drooped and neither spake and coldA
We stood how unlike all forecasted thoughtB
Of that desir ed minute Then I leanedC
Doubting whereat she lifted oh brave eyesD
Unfrighted forward like a wind blown flameE
Came bosom and mouth to mineF
That falling kissG
Touching long laid expectance all went upH
Suddenly into passion yea the nightI
Caught blazed and wrapt us round in vibrant fireJ
-
-
Time's beating wing subsided and the windsK
Caught up their breathing and the world's great pulseL
Stayed in mid throb and the wild train of lifeM
Reeled by and left us stranded on a hushN
This moment is a statue unto LoveO
Carved from a fair white silenceP
Lo he standsQ
Within us are we not one now one one roofR
His roof and the partition of weak fleshS
Gone down before him and no more for everJ
Stands like a bird new lit and as he litT
Poised in our quiet being only onlyU
Within our shaken hearts the air of passionV
Cleft by his sudden coming eddies stillW
And whirs round his enchanted movelessnessQ
-
-
A film of trance between two stirrings LoX
It bursts yet dream's snapped links cling round the limbsQ
Of waking like a running evening streamY
Which no man hears or sees or knows to runV
Glazed with dim quiet save that there the moonZ
Is shattered to a creamy flicker of flameE
Our eyes' sweet trouble were hid save that the loveO
Trembles a little on their impassioned calmsQ
